What a fantastic story

"By five pages in I was hooked, hard. The detailed nightmare of a future world grabs you, the characters are real, and the writing is great. But what really carries you off is the story. It rocks from the first page and never lets up, and there are twists and turns galore. This is one of those books that makes you glad the kindle app on your phone syncs with your kindle, so when you go into the bathroom you can sneak another minute or two of reading.

"By the way I’m 53 and an English teacher. So I can tell you that this book has everything I look for: strong male and female characters, a well-structured plot, fascinating insight into people and the basic question: who am I.

"But I can also tell you that my 14-year-old son, and a couple of students I’ve recommended this book to, have all loved it. You will too."

Great Book for Teen and Adults

"This book is fabulous. The story is a great combination of 'zombies', apocalyptic life and teen romance. It was suspenseful and had twists that you couldn't predict. It was refreshing to read a book that wasn't so predictable. I loved the smart writing and insightful descriptions of the characters and their interactions. I really got into the book and found my emotions going up and down with the story. The deeper messages were realistic and meaningful. My teen and pre-teen couldn't put down the book either. It was a great conversation piece at family dinners. I highly recommend this book and can't wait till the next one comes out and the movie is made".

Fun Family And Zombie Romp

"A fun family romp through a zombie-filled, militaristic dystopia.

"Interesting characters and a pace that never lets up, makes for a fun light read, enjoyable for both adults and young adults.

"Hopefully volume 2 comes soon, so we can find out what happens to the characters we have come to care about."

Very glad I picked this book up

"The book was an adrenaline ride accompanied with well thought out details creating an amazing overall effect. The characters had right amount of skills and flaws that made it easy to empathize and slip into the book. Not a big fan of monotonous zombies that are only repulsive, but these dead things were just pure excitement and fun to read. I enjoy this style of adventure/ suspense books and certainly look forward to their next releases."

Feast on this, Zombie lovers!

"There is a lot of zombie fiction out there, and I'm a fan of the genre, so I was excited to find that The Death Watch brought something new to the table. One of the challenges of spec fiction is plausibility and consistency in the world building...this book didn't have those kinds of holes. The authors addressed everything that needed to be addressed in a very organic way within the narrative. Best of all, the characters had me rooting for them, and the story kept me turning the pages. I was sorry to finish it. I hope there is a sequel!"
